Always Smile At Strangers

When you pass that stressed out Mother in a shopping centre, smile at her.

When you pass that homeless man with his hat laid out in-front of him with 12 coins sat inside, smile at him.

When you see a customer walk into your store one minute before you were meant to go on break, smile at her.

When you see a shop attendant standing around asking every customer if they ‘need a hand with anything,’ smile at them.

When you see a man jogging toward you in the park, smile at him.

When you see a bartender inundated with customers, smile at them.

When you see someone look awkward for being caught staring at you when they thought you weren’t looking, smile at them.

So many beautiful things happen when people smile… I choose to smile at people every single day; and if I can improve just one person’s mood on a daily basis by just moving my mouth, that’s good enough for me.
